Ingredients

reconstituted potato flake (41%), water, flour (wheat, maize, soy, rice), hydrolysed wheat starch, vegetable oils, acidity regulators (541, 500), thickeners (415, 461), salt, milk solids, spice

Cooking Directions

Oven

1. Preheat oven and oven tray to 230°C (210°C fan forced) for 10 minutes.
2. Spread frozen SCALLOP POTATO CAKES in a SINGLE LAYER on the preheated tray. Best results are achieved if SCALLOP POTATO CAKES are well spaced on the tray.
3. Bake in oven for 6 minutes, turn and continue heating for a further 6 - 8 minutes.

NOTE: Cooking times vary from oven to oven. Adjust the cooking times to suit your oven and your preferences.

Sandwich Press (flat surface)

Place frozen SCALLOP POTATO CAKES  in a single layer on the hot sandwich press.  Ensure both sandwich press surfaces are in contact with the SCALLOP POTATO CAKES.  Heat for 3½ - 4 minutes.

Grill

Preheat grill at medium-high heat for 5 minutes.  Spread frozen SCALLOP POTATO CAKES evenly over grill tray.  Grill for 6 minutes.  Turn and grill for a further 3 minutes.

NOTE: SCALLOP POTATO CAKES are NOT suitable for toasters.   

COOK TO LIGHT GOLDEN COLOUR.
Watch carefully during the final minutes of preparation.
DO NOT OVERCOOK.
